I write a column for GeoStata, a newsmagazine that serves the geotechnical engineering community. It is published by ASCE (the American Society of Civil Engineers), and comes out 4 times a year. I don't make any money off of it, but it is rewarding and I enjoy interacting with the geotechnical and civil engineering community. My goal is to become a professor, and I plan to continue writing the column as long as they will have me! - JWN
